Kennedy & Co is a niche firm specialising in providing legal advice and assistance to businesses throughout the UK. We offer a broad range of company and commercial services designed to meet the opportunities and challenges presented to businesses in the modern commercial arena.

Kennedy and Co has been established by experienced commercial lawyer, Adrian Kennedy. Adrian spent the first part of his career as a solicitor in private practice, operating a broad commercial case load in company, commercial and litigation work before moving on to work as sole in house commercial lawyer for Homeserve GB Limited within the Homeserve FTSE 250 group.

Adrian has managed deals with some of the largest companies in the UK. These include: the AA, Experian, Marks and Spencer Financial Services, Leeds Building Society, Npower, Severn Trent Water and EDF Energy.

Adrian has also acted in several high profile litigation cases. Adrian was the instructing solicitor in the case of Archer Structures Limited v. Griffiths [2003] EWHC 957 (Ch), Ch D (Birmingham) (HHJ Kirkham), 30/4/2003 LTL 20/4/2004; [2004] BCC 156, [2004] 1 BCLC 201, Document No: Case Law - AC9100207 a leading precedent on the issue of directors' personal liability in phoenix companies.

The philosophy of Kennedy & Co is to provide the services and experience that businesses would normally associate with city firms. However, as a niche firm Kennedy & Co operates with overheads significantly lower than the city firms and therefore its rates are significantly lower. The charging rate for Adrian Kennedy is £150 per hour.
